WHAT IS THE T.A.U.C.?

The Thumb Area Unity Council is a group made up of the AA and Al-Anon groups throughout Huron and Tuscola Counties.  We gather together once a month to learn and perform more work on behalf of AA and Al-Anon and to find out what God's will is for us as expressed within the Group's conscience.

The T.A.U.C. meets at 6 pm on the second Tuesday of each month (prior to the regularly scheduled 7 pm Pigeon AA meeting) at St. Francis Church Hall, 7474 W. Michigan, Pigeon.

We welcome questions, suggestions, updates and comments.

A.A. PREAMBLE

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution, does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses or opposes any causes.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
